Michael Kadus

Michael “Mike” Kadus, 61, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, with his family by his side.

Michael August Kadus was born February 12, 1963, in Tyler, the son of Robert and Alvina. Mike attended school and realized early he would rather be working than sitting in a classroom. He enjoyed working in construction, had an unmatched work ethic, and was a loyal employee at Hengels for more than 30 years. He loved to farm and spend time with his grandchildren. Mike was reliable, even keeled, and had a witty sense of humor that never failed to make people smile.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Joseph Peterson, Zachary (Heather) Kadus, Anthony (Olivia) Kadus, Jessica (Grant) Wilkins, and Dakota Kadus; grandchildren, Ameila, Charlotte, Paisley, Greta, Leon, Willa, and Wrenleigh; mom, Alvina Kadus; five siblings, and many other extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his dad, Robert.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 11 am, at Casino Assemblies of God Church in Pillager. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services for visitation.
